We had a pretty crappy storm, Hurricane Isaias, here in Delaware. Trees knocked over with other damages to homes and property.

The morning of August 4, 2020 was a very scary morning. We woke up to tornado warnings in Sussex County. The first tornado warning was supposed to be over by 8:15 AM. However, it got extended to 8:45 AM. We had a lot of wind and a lot of debris in our yard.

When the storm was over we rode around the neighborhood and saw damage to homes and property. One house in particular had a 90 foot tree fall on the center of it. Damages to other property includes a tree that fell on someone’s deck and a smaller tree that fell over on the side of the house that caused minor damage.

According to local news outlets, there were not many casualties. A pretty crazy storm, though, nonetheless!
